Watching things

Vie slowly made her way down to the lake. She had been spending way to much time in the common room latley, and had to get out. She felt like she was about to lose what was left of her mind, if she hadn't gotten out.

She sighed, brushed her hair out of her face and stopped at the egde of the lake. She didn't even know where she was really going. She just couldn't take so many people in one place, at one time.

Two years ago, that was a totally different world. And Vie was a totally different girl back then. As she stood at the edge, just watching the water she couldn't help but think back just two years ago.

She was fourteen at the time, and life hadn't gotten so bad. She still had her two brothers and her mother also. She didn't care about Andrew, and to this day she still doesn't.

Of course by the end of that school year, everyone who had been at the school knew what they would be in for next year. What . . . with Snape killing Professor Dumbledore and all.

The sixteen year old, wrapped her arms around herself, shook her head and sat down on a rock. She didn't understand it. But lately she had been looking more and more into the past. And for once she didn't mind. The one thing that bugged her, was those damn dreams.

"Stupid dreams. I can't even understand them right now. And Chris is no help. He doesn't have to deal with the same crap I do." She muttered.

Vie leaned down, picked up a few small rocks and started throwing into the lake. One at a time.
