"Why on earth do you like me?" he asked.
"Because your so devilishly sexy." I laughed.
"Seriously?" he asked.
"Well, I think it's because, since the second I saw you you interested me. I don't know why but you were the most interesting person I had ever seen. No one had ever ran through my mind as fast and as often as you did and they drove me insane. I had never wanted to see someone more in my life and that interested me even more." I said.
"So, you thought I was interesting?" he asked.
"Yup. That and your sexy." I said walking over and kissing his nose. He smiled and chuckled quietly.
"Why do you like me?" I asked sitting down across the room on the large purple bean bag chair that took up the whole corner.
"Because you were the prettiest girl I had ever seen. Plus your eyes looked cool. Then once I hung out with you I automatically knew you were a perfect match for me. And your mind, God,,,, your mind. It's so filled with amazing knowledge of things I would never even be able to comprehend." he said sitting up and opening his eyes to stare right through me.
"Wow. You make me sound so cool." I said astonished. No one had ever really made that well of a jurisdiction of her. She felt so smart and pretty when he said it like that.
"You are cool. Your the coolest chick I've ever met." he said blushing slightly.
"Not as cool as you though." I said blushing.
"Whatever." he smiled. 'The Final Countdown' by Europe came on the radio sitting on the counter.
"I love this song." we both said at the same time. We looked up at each other and smiled awkwardly. We sat there for a few minutes when Renalda came back in with her hand over her eyes.
"Are you decent?" she asked.
"Yeah, Renalda. We're decent." I said huddling over and outstretching my arms in between my legs. I looked up at Mitch who eyes were on my arms and looking very nervous. I laughed and his eyes went up to my face where he blushed madly and put his head down.
"What is it Renalda?" I asked still staring at him.
"Just wondering if I could get you anything?" she asked taking her hand away from her eyes.
"No, I'm good." I said.
"Me too." he whispered.
"Alright." said Renalda then she left. I walked over to him and put my hand on his face. I stared straight into his eyes trying to figure out what he was thinking. He stared right back then moved his head forward plunging us into another kiss. But this wasn't like the kisses we had been doing today. This was sweet and soft. Like the kisses you dream about the ones you long for and wish you can get. We broke off and looked at each other. He closed his eyes and he had a pained look on his face.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm really not good for you." he said. I stood up and walked into the kitchen to get out of that area. I didn't want to hear it. Everyone that knew (Jessica and Braden, no thanks to Jessica) told me that. I didn't care I really liked him, maybe even loved him.
"If you don't like me anymore just tell me. Don't play me." I said.
"It's not that." he said standing up and walking in front of me and putting his arms around my waist. "It's just,,,, your so great and I'm just so,,,,, you can just so so much better than me."
"What if I don't want any better. Huh? What if all I want right now is you. Would that make a difference?" I asked.
"I don't know." he said dropping his head. "I just,,,, I think I love you and I just want to know that you won't abuse that." he said looking at me.
"Never." I said. "How could you even think I would do that to you?" I asked putting my hand on his face.
"It's happened before." he said looking back at me with tear filled filled eyes.
"I promise." I said.
"How do I know you telling the truth?" he asked.
"Because I think I love you too." I said. He tightened his grip around my waist and he lowered his head until our foreheads touched. "Promise me." I whispered.
"What?" he said with his eyes still closed.
"That you won't hurt me either." I said.
