Rules to Advertise and Affiliate

Advertisements.

• Please do not try to post in the subboards. They are for sorted ads - once your ad has been reviewed and our ad linked back by a helper or staff member, then we will move your ad to the appropriate board.
  
  
• We are Guest Friendly so you do not have to register to advertise or affiliate with us. By posting as a guest to affiliate keeps our membership clean, meaning we do not have to go through and delete those who have registered just to affiliate or place an ad.
  
  
• We should be able to post as a guest to advertise are site in return. It is only fair. We shouldn't be required to register nor should we have to have so many post before we can advertise. If we cannot post an ad back, then we will delete your ad.
  
  
• Please double check through the Master List to see if there is already an ad for your site on our boards. Any and all duplicate ads will be deleted, and the site contacted about the duplicate posting. It is ok to bump your ad ONLY when it has fallen off the first page.
  
  
• We will edit your ad as we see fit, though this rarely happens. Generally, if you have an image that will stretch our board for any of our members, or you have a blinding font or a font too dark to read, we will change it so the members here have ease of viewing, which is really what ads are supposed to be about anyway, right?
  

Affiliations.

• We are very selective about who we affiliate with and are no longer just going to accept anyone as an affiliate. While we appreciate the gesture that it implies, our board is simply getting too big and our scroller simply too long to take on boards with no activity or hopes of gaining activity. As such we have complied a series of requirements we would like to see proposed affiliates meet.
  
  • Our banner should be up somewhere obvious
    
  • At least 20 members
    
  • Activity within the last week, and not a lot of empty boards
    
  • A decent colour scheme that doesn't kill our eyes
    
  • Guests can read at least part of it - to be able to judge about activity
    
  
  
  
  
• We reserve the right to refuse any affiliation request. If so, we will contact the board and inform them that they were denied, and that our banner may be taken down.
  
  
• When creating an affiliation request, label your thread title as such. The name of the site is fine, but please also add brackets in adding that it is a request to affiliate.
  
  
• As always, and as a general reminder, if you are affiliating with us we wish to see our button up before we place yours upon are site. Thank you.
