Information
1. Please try and keep all your posts here in character. See rules for further details.
2. The plots you have created in the board are meant to be richer here. It's supposed to be fun, of course, but also try and build relationships with other characters, probe into your own character, and enjoy the letter-writing and noting process.
3. No posting restrictions! Well, to an extent. Grammar and spelling rules, as well as posting minimum, end here as well. You can forget spaces, commas, and periods here if you wish. The "Bare Bottom" posting minimum is three sentences, and that should really only be in the notes being passed back and forth in class or between classes, unless 'notated images' are used. See definitions.
Definitions
Letters.
These are generally letters from home, to home, between adults concerning whatever might be happening with the war or at home. They are usually delivered by Owls in the morning for students, or in dorms, or for adults whenever the owl might arrive. You can role play this with your character with someone else playing as a mother-father-brother-sister-cousin-aunt-whatever, or you can role play back and forth with yourself, to dig deeper into your character and the minds of their friends and family.
Notes.
These are passed in class or between class to and from students. You can simply write out what a note would say, you can use the IM (or chat style) formatting, or, you can use a picture using a hand-writing font with drawings, doodles, or other note-like things. If you are going to write out whatever your note will say, please observe the three-sentence rule.
Parcels.
These are the packages and such sent to a student. A role play can be written about what was received, or, images can be used to show what was received.
Rules
In order to maintain cohesion there have to be some rules. Otherwise things could get out of hand very quickly.
1. Three sentences are all that are needed in order to post here. Remember, those count toward your post count.
2. If you are using images, please post at least more than one image in a post as courtesy. Again, these posts count toward your post count, and any abuse will result in a deduction in your post count.
3. Your own character should be used for notes and letters, but in the event of writing letters, you are more than welcome to role play the other person you are sending a letter to, unless it's a character here. In that case, please involve that person in the letter process, naturally, since it's about the action and reaction.
Now that you have read the rules, be sure to have fun!
