So, for anyone who hasn't heard yet, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is going to be made into two movies as opposed to one. The first will be released in November 2010 and the second half in May of 2011. Well, I don't really want to wait another three years to see all of the movies, but I'm kind of happy to be honest. At least this means that everyone who adored the book exactly the way it was will be satisfied. For someone who has never been a huge fan of the movies (at least not in the same way as the books) this is going to be refreshing. If you'd like to read the full article (it's not very long, mind you) click here.

They cut Pirates of the Caribbean into two films as well, you know, and both of them were pretty bad. I can only hope the same cannot be said of these.

Well, I think my biggest reason for being a bit happier about this than most seem to be is what I'd like to think of as a guarantee that the part I most want to see will be in there. I was disappointed that the cut most of the bit about the Marauders out of Order of the Phoenix, so the idea that the chapter about Snape's history will actually be appearing is a nice one. Then again, it'll probably be cut down to a three minute segment of ridiculously incoherent flashbacks, so... I guess there goes my excitement, now that I think about it.
Oh well... now I'm just wondering if they're going to make us buy each half individually or if they'll just put them out at the same time. I'm betting it'll be the former, though.

Well that is kind of exciting to me because I was worried that the seventh movie was going to be horrible just because of the fact that there is so much that happened in the book that would have to be left out to be even remotely close to the length of a normal movie. But I don't like that they are coming out six months apart. Oh well. One thing I am worried about for the seventh movie is the mirror that Sirius gave Harry, because it never has him give it to him in the movie, and it plays an essential part in the seventh book. So I wonder if they are just going to pretend like he did give it to him...

I heard that from my mates sister and in a way I was excited, but than again I was a little mad, we have to Waite longer for the whole movie. But it will keep me in anticipation with what will happen. Also I can't Waite to see who plays the older version of the characters and who plays the kids (Hugo, Rose, Lily, Albus, and James, though we all know). and if they cut out the Epilogue I will die! They must have that in there.
