Not sure if you guys noticed, but for the first two weeks of March H&H was ad-free. It's a spiffy little feature to be sure, but, it costs money; $7 US gets 50,000 pageviews without ads, after that the ads get put back up. I paid for 200,000 pageviews, but before I put any more credits toward the site, I wanted to know if people would be willing to help pay for them for the future.
This is what ProBoards has to say about Ad-Free:
After that, the only thing I would be looking for donations to is the cbox; it's $2 US a month for a paid, ad-free box with way more options, such as a longer history and longer post-length. It would be about $9 US a month to have an upgraded site.
Anyway, it wouldn't cost a lot if we shared the expenses, but obviously since we use up 50,000 page views every two weeks, I think it would grow rapidly for one or even two people to pay for.
Would anyone be interested to donate to a paypal account? I'd also accept any version of payment you could make if you don't have a paypal, since it would go toward the site anyway.

Lemme know!

I'm young.. obviously.. and have no paypal.. If you gave me your address over PM, I could probably like.. mail some donations or something..
I have more money than my uncle with a job. I am fourteen and not allowed a job.. money's not a huge issue for me, 'cause I save. -nods-

Well, I wouldn't expect a whole lot from you, mostly coz you're so young, but if you want to donate, then I can't stop you.
;D
And I will send you a PM with my addy. It'll take some time to set up the paypal, but once I get it set up, anyone who is old enough to have that wondrous credit or debit line is more than welcome to send monies over to it, because that is where the payments to the box and the ad-free will come from.

I would help... but I am young and got no pay-pal as well. And I am kinda broke at the moment.. well all my money has to go to my camera a broke and a new computer, since this one is getting outdated. But when I get some money that I can spare I probably could send it like Lupe...

Apparently there were some compromised accounts at the fiance's bank, but as soon as he gets his new debit card in the mail and the Paypal is up and running, I'll send off some cash to help out.
Assuming I can find a new job... lol... since my company is leaving and I no longer intend to. <3
[edit]
So I read that and realized that it sounds like I'm forcing him to pay for my addiction. Thought I'd make note of the fact that I don't have an account myself so I just hand him the money to replace what I'm spending.
There... I feel slightly better. ^_^

Well, awesome to both of you.
Kristi, he'd need a paypal to send money to and from, I believe. I'd have to double-check into it to make sure. Not sure how it would work entirely to be quite honest.

I went ahead and bought a year for our Cbox, which is $20. I cashed out my refund check from the government, so thank Uncle Sam, everyone, for buying us some adfree, awesome cbox.
