HOUSE POINTS.
The time to tabulate house points is in! In a few short days, probably by the end of the week, the house points will be finalized, points that need to be added will be added, points that need to be taken away will be taken away, and then the house that wins the cup will receive a very special treat from the staff here at H&H. Can't say what, but it will be very exciting.
There should be one more Quidditch match before the house points are reset, so please leave a message as the best times for you. There will also be a number of point-worthy games appearing in the next few days that will only be open for a short while. Play them and earn your house the really neat prize!
PLOT.
At the time the house points are calculated and reset, a number of things will be happening here at H&H. Old threads will be moved out and our time line, for canon purposes only, will be reseting back to the beginning of the term. The staff and I are hopeful that by moving back we can slingshot ourselves forward with the plot. This means that Snape will take over as the Head of Hogwarts, Voldemort will begin to take over the Ministry, and all general hell should be breaking loose.
Some people who have been playing the month as December, or for people who have already established relationships, have no fear. The relationships that were built before the wipe will still be counted as valid, and those threads that have already occurred and are canon for your character will still be counted as such. The difference will come in the fact that there will be more for canon characters, more in terms of the canonical things that should have happened. Since it took us so long to figure everything out for where we wanted to go, hopefully with that vision in mind we can get there a lot faster than we were.
NEW SKIN.
I'd like for everyone to vote on the new skin. I'd very much like to know if people want the new banner I've made to be the image that new people see when they come to the site. That poll can be found in the Quibbler.
ANYTHING ELSE.
Spring has arrived for most of us, which means the end of some terms, the beginning of others, or the start of a summer holiday. This either means more time, or less stress, either of which is an improvement. I would like to see more shining faces around, mostly because we've got so much cool stuff going on and about to happen. There will be several small projects put out by the staff for members to take on in the upcoming weeks, hopefully of which most members will enjoy. And if all else fails, remember that there are cookies involved.
