Despite our very firm zero-tolerance on plagiarism, it would seem that it is not a deterrent for those who would steal the applications of members. A recent swell in application thefts has prompted me to close the accepted application area to guests. As much as I prefer to have it open, so that people can see the kind of applications that we tend to accept, I simply cannot deal with the headache that stems from tracking down stolen applications and then trying to deal with those who plagiarize.
This has also prompted me to begin the formation of a committee, run by regular members, who will be like the watch-dogs of H&H, in the instance that someone joins and copies over an app from one of the members here anyway. It won't really stop thefts, it will simply narrow down the field for me and the other staff members to look through when it comes to finding out who took the application, and dealing with it as promptly as possible.
If you would like to volunteer for this committee, I am willing to donate house points as well as a few sickles (or if your character is an adult, galleons and sickles) for your efforts in keeping down the number of thefts, or at the very least, noticing when there have been instances of plagiarism and reporting it to the staff here so we might deal with it.
