We've got a different groove...

We at Lost Fellowship strive to set ourselves apart from other Lord of the Rings role plays. In doing so we have developed a new system of role playing that hopefully will satisfy the cravings of all Lord of the Rings fans, even those who might not know the complete world that Tolkien created. There are two different sections where players might find themselves being able to post. In our Ainulindalë, you don't have to know the canon of Middle Earth. In this section, your characters will interact with Middle Earth without having to worry if you're following the events of the books. The Ainulindalë is very fluid, and can provide you with the experience you are looking for, be it playing a non-canon original character or a non-canon version of a canon character with whatever plot is in your heart's desire.

If you love the canon of Middle Earth, have read the books and are looking to make your character as close to the book lore as possible, then you will be granted permission to not only play in the Ainulindalë, but also with the elite of our boards where canon is looked after and posting is encouraged to be longer than the minimums. It's the golden arena for role playing for those who love canon Middle Earth. This, combined with the Ainulindalë, should make for the perfect combination for anyone looking to role play Middle Earth.


And if you so choose to go down that path...

Walk the lands of Gondor, witness the troubles overtake the Steward and the brave warriors of Boromir and Faramir. Watch as foals grow into mighty steeds of Rohan, and guard yourself against the wrath of Wormtongue. Listen to the whispers of the trees in Lothlorien, hear the disquiet that disturbs the land in the east. Or if you are in Rivendell, bide your time before you leave for the Grey Havens. If the soil and its fruits are to your liking, find a cheery hole in the Shire and forget about all the troubles outside your borders.

Play the time before, during, or after the great War of the Ring. Explore not only the events of the books, but the every day lives of the people the books mention not, the events that are left unsaid. Be you from the North, South, East, or West, be you a hobbit, a man, an elf or a dwarf, come and find your place in the Lost Fellowship.
