Clicked on this trailer as soon as it was advertised on msn.  Lupe, I was reminded of LotR too; the first one, even though I'm not a fan of that series.  It looks good though; I know we all moan about the movies at times, myself included, but I'm still excited about its release. ^-^ |

I admit i'm more excited about this film then I have been any of the others as I thought David Yates did a fabulous job in OOTP and capturing it's darkness so I have high hopes for this one! And so far I havn't been let down Mini-Tom is love <3. And i'm glad their focusing on that aspect of the story which I thought was so much more interesting then the mushy clumsyness of teenage romances. |

Omg, I`m going with everyone else on little Tom, awesome, just about how exactly how i imagened him! I really liked the tralier, i dunno what it was, but now I`m begging to go and see it . that compleatly changed my mind. but my friends and I are going to throw popcorn at the screan. Lupe, I immediately thought of the FotR scene where Gandalf explains to Frodo about the ring, haha. This actually doesn't look half bad, but it makes it seem like it's going to be a huge stretch of "flashback" rather than that being just one element of the story.
I agree, little Tom is perfect. I have to disagree and say he doesn't look innocent at all. He looks like I pictured him, though. Something obviously sinister about him, but sort of subtle. The kid looks like he'll be great for the role.
I don't have high hopes for this, especially because it's so full of Dumbledore and Gambon is NOT Dumbledore. But this trailer makes it appear that it might at least be a good film in itself, even if it's not a great adaptation.

Ah CARTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just made my day. Gambon is not Dumbledore. I can't stand the way he plays him.
Lupe-- yeah, I got the same impression from the fire part.
I think I'm gonna have to go back and read this book again, I didn't remember half of the stuff that happened in the trailer.

I agree. I hate the way that he plays Dumbledore. Kinda ruins the character because it's not how I think of him at all.
But it does look like a good movie in itself, which is kind of how I look at the movies. Personally I wasn't a fan of the fifth movie, though.

i am so impatient for this movie to be out already! xP.
and i have disliked LotR ever since i saw the beginning of #1 and ive only seen bits and pieces as my fam loves them lol. so idk what yall see exactly, tho i do know about the scene i just havent seen it.
and i also absolutely agree about dumbledore. the perfect dumbledore imaginable was from the first and second movies. i MiSS HiM! grr stupid death lol.
but i know it will not be like the book enough at all but i would still like to watch it because even tho it will not be as good as the books, the movies are all good in their own way.
