WELCOME GUESTS TO NOX MANOR
On the corner of Oakham Ln. and Norton Ln. in the quiet but wealthy area of Surrey, UK there is a small unnamed road, paved though it is, there is not title to it and no homes on it. The street seems serene enough, on either side there is soft maple trees and sprawling fields, all leading up to a rather impressive wood at the end of the road, fondly known as Norton Wood, a small patch of seemingly uninhabited shrouded trees.
A simple muggle would, at reaching the dead end, turn around and continue on their way, or not even venture down the road in the first place, but a wizard or witch on the other hand, would be wise and wait to be met at the end of the wood by a house elf. After which they would be escorted into the wood a few yards where a carriage was waiting. The travel through the woods is rather pleasent, many animals reside at this location and in some areas the thick canopy opens and allows either sunshine or moonlight to pass through the forest, creating a lovely scene.
Upon entering the area in which the house can be seen you can see the splendor. With gardens speckling the woods, clad with statues of famous wizards and witches and some lovely fountains, with color changing water in the spring months. A lovely area where Lady Nox attends to her many guests during the parties she hosts in the good weathered months.
The home of the Nox family is a modest sized mansion with enough room for family and any guests who wish to stay for a night or longer. Made of brick to last the ages, with many spells to keep the manor looking freshly built even at its 100+ years standing in the mysterious and yet beautiful wood of outer London.
