Ruby had been walking around Hogsmeade, alone as usual. Hopefully someone would bump into her today, though it was high doubtful. She wondered where to go first. Since she had no one with her, she could choose where, but that was the problem. Ruby wasterrible at making her own choices. She looked around as other people walked around then shivered as she felt a cool breeze pass by her.
She should've gotten there sooner, with the others, but she had some late work to do. But now it was finished and there was nothing to do about the past. She slowly walked around, her hands in her pocket. Where to...
Finally she passed by her favourite shop and smiled brightly. Honeyduke's! Of course! This was where the blonde got her energy. She walked on in and smiled as the familiar bell rang. She greeted the employees then looked around, walking slowly. It felt like she had all the time in the world.
She picked up the familiar candies, smiling. Ruby was smiling so much, it was hard to see that she was lonely at all! She looked like the social type anyway. Would this be the day? Would someone finally talk to her? As the blonde picked up another candy -- a chocolate frog -- she listened to the bell ring.
Someone was entering the building. Someone new, hopefully. Someone Ruby could talk to and get along. She smiled slightly, setting her candies down and waving at them. No no, that looked stupid! She flushed red, picking up just a small amount of her candy. No way was she going to pick it all up! If she did, the stranger would think she was a fatso.
She wondered if they went to Hogwarts, and how old they were. She was suddenly getting desperate, wasn't she?

Sergio was outside his office today because his inner eye had told him that he need to go to Hogsmeade. The visions were cloudy and weren't given him much detail today but Sergio couldn't shake the feeling he need to by sweets. He made his way to the only sweet shop in Hogsmeade he knew where as back in there seemed to be at least two sweets shops in every town. He never understood it seeing as he wasn't a big fan of sweets. As Sergio entered the store he heard the little bell ding right above his head. This was going to be an interesting evening because it seemed like it was the weekend that Hogwarts let their students go to Hogsmeade, which was a luxury he never got in Durmstrangs. Education was very strict and it seemed like every moment was spent studying. He didn't mind it so much as he found it difficult to learn new stuff because he would be bombarded with visions of various people's futures and He didn't want to know them.
He got a clearer vision as he walked closer to the counter. It seemed his inner eye had lead him there to talk to a student and get to know them, but which one there were so many of them many were busy stuffing candy and various treats into large bags. He knew that the students would regret it later with a stomachache. He didn't need to be a seer to know that the kids would gorge themselves on the delectable goodies and regret it later. He was just about to turn to leave when he saw a blonde haired young lady, she seemed like she didn't have many friends and that she was just in this shop not for the candy but the companionship. He walked closer to her feeling oddly drawn to her but not completely understanding why. "Excuse me Miss, Do you happen to be 'ere alone and looking for a friend? Something tells me that you aren't here by mere coincidence." Sergio stated with somber voice trying hard to find out from his abilities if this was the student he was to talk to but everything was still shrouded in mystery. He decided that trying to force the visions weren't going to do anything and that they will just reveal themselves in time. He wanted to leave right now because he was scared of making himself look like a fool if he started predicting stuff. Especially since he tries to keep it hidden that he is a true seer. He likes to let people think he has a mild seer ability when that isn't true he has the true thing. This was definitely going to be an interesting and possibly embarrassing outing, especially if he went passed out and then people tell him just made a major prediction. He hated those moments because he couldn't even remember making them, All he remembers is getting very tired and passing out and then waking up a few minutes later. He remembers the scary experience at age nine when he passed out and then his mother told him after he woke up that he had predicted the return of a great evil which later turned out to be the return of Lord Voldemort. He was scared of making another one because all his fortune telling tools were telling him that an even greater and more organized evil is on the rise.
He hoped with all his might that his tools were malfunctioning

Ruby was quite nervous about the whole thing. So maybe the feeling she had wasn't her being crazy. She smiled slightly as he started talking to her. It was embarrassing that he could tell that she was lonely and was alone. "Uh," she started, shaking her head nervously. Why so bloody nervous?! "Yeah I suppose so," she smiled a bit sheepishly, wondering what he was thinking at the moment. It was pretty sad that she was alone, and even after 5 years she had made little friends... Especially being a Hufflepuff...
She looked around the shop, wondering if he was going to be her new friend, or if he was suddenly going to burst out laughing for how she had reacted. Either way, she smiled.
He seemed to be thinking about something, since he seemed deep in thought. Should she introduce herself? She thought for a moment in the awkward silence then offered a hand. "I'm Ruby, Ruby Tates," she introduced herself.
Was it strange that she was talking to an older man? With his accent, he obviously wasn't from Hogwarts and he didn't look like a student anymore. But she was glad either way.
She picked up some candy then leaned against a shelf, careful not to knock it over.

Other people always assumed Sergio was always deep thought which was partially true seeing as his inner eye allowed him to glance at things yet to come but today it was etheir not working properly or he was thinking too hard for all things were cloudy to him but he couldn't help but shake the feeling this was the girl he was to talk to. He almost didn't catch her introduction but luckily he snapped out of his thoughts long enough to see the hand reaching towards him. " Sergio, Sergio Brandt." He took her hand and shook it quick and firmly hopiing he didn't injure the poor girl. "You mind if I indulge in some of your Candy? It looks like you have made a wise choice in sweets. Oh I Sorry if i scared you earlier. I am not from around here and i felt drawn to this place for reasons I would rather not discuss because you probably would freak out and not understand it." Sergio said softly trying so hard to be polite and make friendly conversation but he didn't know what to tell the student. He was deep in thought on whether to announce that he was divination teacher. Would she even care would she think that divination was phony art and should be removed from the magical world. "I don't intend to scare you but i sense that you are a very lonely girl and really wish you had some friends. If I may ask what are you so afraid of that you can't make friend?" Sergio his accent causing him to accidentally leave off the letter S in friends.
"I don't make many friend because i don't go out much nor Does anyone really want to be friends with me but the few i have a really close." He stated bluntly trying to make more conversation but feeling he was failing at it horribly. He suddenly got vision that this was the girl he was to befriend and that she would become very good friends. He dismissed this not true because of their tremendous age difference and the fact he was seer. He didn't think this friendship would last and yet he couldn't stop talking to the young girl, what was wrong with did he really trust his seer ability that much or was just really desperate for companionship either way he wasn't going to fight this feeling.

She noticed that the man had an accent. He really did seem to be deep in thought, though she couldn't tell what about. Why would someone be thinking so much in a candy store? She thought about it but stopped as she began listening to him. His handshake was strong and warm yet soft at the same time. Ruby felt herself blush slightly. Oh Merlin, he didn't see, right? Besides, he was older than her... "Oh yeah, go ahead," she replied as she held some sweets out. "I'll pay for them later," she added, hoping she had enough money for it all. She smiled a bit nervously now as he spoke about friends, without adding the s of course. She figured that was because of his accent. "Oh, I just don't have many friends, and sometimes I get nervous around people," she laughed a bit sheepishly as she rubbed her neck and looked down at the ground.
She was still very new with friendship and as Sergio kept on talking about friends she raised her head, looking up at him. "Do you want to be friends then?" she said before she could think about it. She felt herself turn red again, but this time out of embarrassment. "Er," she started, not knowing what to say...

Sergio took a handful of sweet indulging this one time in sugary confections. When he heard that the young girl was going to pay for them later he thought it would be the most gentlemanly thing to do to pay for them himself. "Don't worry about it Ruby, I will pay for this bag and any other treats you want get whatever you want." Sergio paid the clerk for the candies and told the cashier he would pay for the extra stuff. "I would like to be friends Miss Tates but I am unsure you would like a friend who is my age and has my powers." Sergio said as he leaned in closer. This was going to be the hardest thing he ever admitted to anyone but there was no need to hide it any longer. He could tell that Ruby kept thinking he was lost in thought and it did seem weird that he was thinking so much in a candy store. "
Try and keep this secret Miss Tates only the Ministry knows this because I am shunned by many of peers and almost never share this with anyone." Sergio gulped loudly this was hard and he didn't know how to explain to a young girl who was willing to be his friend that he was a seer and that he predicted their friendship but the future was still unclear if it would work out or if they would wind up becoming enemies. "The truth is Ruby, I am a Seer. My inner eye lead me here to this candy shop because i was to talk to a student but i was unsure who until i met you. Now you probably think I am full of hogwash and that Divination is a fake art. I assure you my powers are real." Segio whispered trying so hard not to grab his wand and erase her memory of this entire encounter. He was socially awkward person.
He moved in closer hoping that his revelation didn't scare off the young woman and that she truly meant to be his friend otherwise his inner eye was wrong. It is rarely ever wrong but it does have its rare moments where he makes a prediction and its completely false. "I understand Miss Tates, If you leave right now and call me a freak not many understand that i am true seer and that i am not like the typical seers who just make false prophecies on whim. " Segio continued to whisper not wanting the entire store to listen in but he could see wandering eyes looking at him especially everytime he said the word seer. He could sense the glares of judgement. This was the longest and scariest moment of his life. If only he had never come to this store and had ignored his inner eye then he wouldn't have put himself in this awkward situation.

Ruby felt herself blush once again when the man said he was going to pay. He seemed like a gentleman, but of course she was too young for him and she shouldn't have thought about it that deeply. He was just being kind to her. As he moved closer and closer, her eyes widened but she didn't look away. But after a while her eyes moved to the ground. She was never good at eye contact anyway. Sergio explained how he was a Seer. At first Ruby didn't believe him but it seemed like the others in the store did. "Really?" she asked curiously. It didn't seem like she was uncomfortable at all.
She remembered Divination class. She had been so bored she had almost fallen asleep, and she probably did a couple of times. She shrugged, unsure. "I," she started, not knowing the words. She smiled. She was a Hufflepuff for a reason... "I don't think it matters if you're a Seer or not," she shrugged, smiling. She didn't say the word Seer loud because some wizards in the room seemed to be bothered.
Her parents hated Seers though, and she remembered that as she spoke to him. "I'm still willing to be your friend," she laughed slightly as she felt awkwardness in the room. She held out her friend again, offering the friendship. "Friends?" she asked. She realized she sounded very desperate at the moment and turned a little red.

Segio listened quietly and he knew the child was skeptical but it wasn't his place to make her a believer. It was the same with every person he encountered they never believed he was seer either. "Ya, I really am a seer. I teach divination at Durmstrangs, but you seem to be like many of my students who find divination boring and possibly pointless. It is not my place to make you believe me or remotely changed your mind about the inner eye." Sergio said bluntly not really caring if she changed her mind. He knew that if she got close enough to him and was his friend long enough She would realize his powers were real unlike Trelawny.
Trelawny maybe a relative of the great Cassandra Trelawny, but only a very small portion of that seer ability was passed down to Sybil. "I am glad we can remain friends despite you not believing my powers." Edgar said turning his attention to the on-lookers. "You all have problem when I talk to young girl!" Sergio snapped and everyone diverted their attention back to their sweets. They all seemed to fear that he would come up some prediction about someone dying. He found it ridiculous that everyone expected his fortune telling to be all doom and gloom. This was rarely the case sometimes it was about great events to happen to another person's life. All though he could understand their point view seeing as the dark lord was recently defeated and they were waiting for when the next dark lord would rise.
