Yes, that's right! It's the first of the month, which means the first Quidditch match should be on it's way.
This is the perfect time to go an apply to be on the team! Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin are all in need of players.
Remember, only one handler can be on the team. This means that if you have a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor, you can only have one character play. It would not be fair to either team if you had to spread your playing time out against two teams.
So come on! The sooner those spots get filled up, the sooner we can actually have a match.
Until then, scrimmage is still an option for any two teams that feel they are ready. No points will be awarded, but a referee will be present to moderate the game and make sure all the rules are played by.
XxX Cheers!

I would love to throw another Quidditch match, a real, full-points match! A poll has been added to this thread, and I'd love to hear some feedback, on the dates and times that will work for you for this next match.
The idea is to have it on March 8 or 9 at whatever time people are going to most be on. The poll's times are marked as PST, and I will add the EST in there as well, to keep confusion down. You are allowed to pick three choices; one for the day and two time slots that work best for you. The time slots are in two hour increments, but if you can only show up halfway through an increment, or have a split schedule, or any other special circumstance, as always, let us know here so we can remember what's going on.
The Quidditch sign-ups are still open, and the teams have changed a little here and there. Spots have come open, spots have been filled, but in general there is still a lot of room open! Remember that we'd like one handler to play in Quidditch to be fair, which means that if you have two students in two different houses, only one can be on a team, but that choice is up to you.
Cheers, and I'm excited for this game!

What is your time zone called? I'll be able to figure it out once I know what it is.

Well, the Saturday would be best for me... as long as I'm not going to my family's or something. And I really only can make it at 1-4 eastern time. Sunday may work out, depending on if I'm at my mom's or dad's and whatever.
No matter what the time or day though I will try my best to make it to the game =]

i didn't vote cause i don't know what my work schedule will be speciafically that weekend yet. however, i can say that mornings would definately be better for me or really really late in the night. since i work at a movie theatre, we usually don't close until 1am.

I can (as far as I'm aware) make both days, generally from 11am-11/11.30pm GMT (3am-3/3.30pm PST), although I can only be online for half an hour at a go, and then I have to wait an hour between goes before I can get back on again (yay for pacing making things complicated). So yeah, basically I'd say schedule it whenever and I'll do my best to make some of it. Which means that this post wasn't actually much help.

If you take the second USA time (EST) and add twelve to it, you'll get the times for where you are.

Anyway, so far everything looks good. Looks more and more like Saturday in the afternoon-ish .

I'll try to be here regardless of the day and time, but saturday does work better for me.
Well, for Harry rather, as Aiden doesn't play quidditch. xD

Come on people, sign up! It won't be a fair game if Gryffindor has such an overwhelming advantage in numbers.

Aw.... Bobby, but you made an amazing move in the last match! No posts from Sly at all and then BAM. You win the game for Slytherin.
But yeah, the more votes we get, the better idea I will be able to get on the times. I would prefer it in the morning, between 8 am PST and 10 am PST, since I am pretty sure I will have to work that day.
